“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”  –MLK Jr.

She loves her work. She loves fighting for the underdog, the accused. The government has all the resources but if we allow injustice to happen to some people, we endanger everyone. It is an honor to help protect the rights of others, to ensure the Constitution is upheld and help those who cannot help themselves in navigating a confusing and sometimes frightening criminal justice system. She challenges the government to be fair, accurate, and just.

She has 2 kids who were born and raised in Rockford. She loves Rockford.
